Owner-operated. Texas-focused.
The operating company for Alta Real Estate — running every community with the discipline that justified its acquisition.
Operator-grade multifamily management
Our story
Brighton was built to be the operating side of an institutional owner. We are the property management arm of Alta Real Estate — a Texas Sun Belt multifamily buyer — and we operate every asset with the same discipline that underwrote it.
Our approach
We don't templatize. Every asset gets a bottom-up operating plan built with its asset manager, ownership reporting that surfaces variance line by line, and on-site teams held to retention-focused service standards. Capital is sequenced to the hold thesis, not spent for its own sake.
Three operating principles.
Operator mindset
Asset management and property operations are not separate disciplines — we treat them as one. The team that runs the asset reads the financials.
Hands-on management
On-site leadership, regular site visits by ownership and asset management, and direct accountability across the portfolio. No outsourced silos.
Reporting that works
Owner-grade financials, accrual-basis, with line-by-line variance commentary. Built for institutional readers — useful for everyone else, too.
