The terms that govern your use of the Brighton Residential Management website and text-messaging program.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at brightonmgmt.com and the services offered by Brighton Residential Management (“Brighton,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the operating company for Alta Real Estate. By accessing our website or enrolling in our text-messaging program, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or the program.
Use of the website
You may use our website for lawful, personal, and informational purposes. You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access, or use it in violation of any applicable law. All content on the site — including text, graphics, logos, and images — is owned by Brighton or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or distribute it without our permission.
SMS / Text Messaging Terms
Brighton offers an SMS text-messaging program to support leasing, residency, and account servicing. These messaging terms are part of these Terms of Service. By providing your mobile number and agreeing to receive text messages, you consent to the terms in this section.
- Program
- The Brighton Residential Management messaging program sends account- and service-related text messages to residents, applicants, and prospective residents who opt in.
- Types of messages
- Leasing and tour information; application, screening, and move-in updates; rent, billing, and payment reminders; maintenance and work-order updates; appointment and inspection reminders; important community notices; and replies to your customer-care questions.
- How you opt in
You opt in by providing your mobile number and consenting to receive text messages from Brighton Residential Management. For prospective residents, this most often happens by phone: when you call one of our leasing phone lines and press 1, you can request leasing information and a text follow-up, and your verbal consent to receive those texts is captured during that call. You may also opt in by giving us your mobile number and agreeing to be contacted by text during the leasing or application process, at move-in, or through your resident portal.
Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of leasing, purchasing, or receiving any service from us.
- Message frequency
- Message frequency varies based on your account activity and your interactions with us.
- Cost
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Opt out
- You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation and then stop sending messages. To opt back in, reply START or contact us again.
- Help
- Reply HELP for help, or contact us at info@brightonmgmt.com or (903) 213-2198.
- Carriers
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Privacy
- Mobile information and text-messaging consent are handled as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not share mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Resident portals and third-party links
Our website links to third-party services, including resident payment and leasing portals operated by our software providers. We do not control those services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites.
Disclaimers
Our website and its content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Information on the site is for general informational purposes and does not constitute a binding offer of housing or services.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Brighton and Alta Real Estate will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the website or the text-messaging program.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Your continued use of the website or the text-messaging program after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
